平昌オリンピック開会式のドローンの映像はINTELの作品だったようです

　平昌オリンピックの開会式のテレビを見ていたら、３Ｄドットアニメーションのような映像が写っていました。
　リオデジャネイロでも３Ｄ表示をやっていたので最近のはやりかもしれません。

　テレビの映像を見ているとモーションキャプチャした人の動きのような感じです。
　番組の説明を聞いていると、ドローンを使って表示しているとのことです。
　結構な数（数百？）の輝点があるので、数百機のドローンが同時に且つ個別に制御されて飛んでいるということでしょうか？
　「本当にそんなことができるの？」、「ＣＧでは？」という疑問が生じます。

　後で調べたら、インテルのドローンチームによる作品で、映像の作成には1218機のドローンが使用されたようです。
　色々な制約条件のために、リアルタイムの飛行は出来なかったようですが、コンピュータ制御であるとしても。1000機以上のドローンを同時に制御するというのはにわかには信じられません。
　流行のFake Newsかと思ってしまいました。
